Purpose
The purpose of this project was to create an app as a team that could revolutionize the on-campus bus travel experience for students. We also decided to specifically focus on helping those with physical disabilities. This project was created for the Amazon Design Challenge.
Format & Functions
This project consists mainly of PowerPoint. The PowerPoint displays the Figma mockup of our application, as well as insight into our design/ideation process. A few of the slides are shown below. Click the "View Presentation" button above to view the entire presentation.
Experience & Process
As the team leader and organizer, this project meant a lot to me. I led the team in meetings, assigned action items, gave roles, and really had my hands on all parts of the project. Ultimately, our project ended up taking us to the final round, where we were able to present in front of a room full of UMD students/staff/professors and staff from Amazon. We ended up placing second in the entire competition. I am very proud of what we accomplished, and I couldn't have done it without my fantastic team members.
